NBA extends signing period

Rumor mongers who follow such players as Rajon Rondo(notes) have been given an extended time window by the NBA to talk about whether he'll be signed to a contract extension by the Boston Celtics or not.
The deadline for contract extensions for everybody who was drafted in 2006 was supposed to be midnight tomorrow night but the league is apparently giving everybody till Monday, according to ESPN.
Apparently that's a standard thing: If the deadline falls on a weekend or federal holiday, it gets moved to the next business day.
